Bounce House Safety!

Inflatable bounce houses are a fun way to get kids moving, but they can also pose hazards without proper equipment or supervision.

At least two children’s birthday parties have been ruined in the U.S. this year when the inflatable toys went airborne.

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles published a study on bounce house injuries.

Among 49 children treated for fractures, 67 percent occurred when a child collided with another person. In 19 percent of injuries, the child fell out of the play area and onto the ground.

The Register is working on a story about bounce house safety. We want to hear from you. If your child has suffered an injury, please leave a comment below.
